We specialise in organising excursions into the Gunung Leuser National Park and it's surrounding villages - choose from one of the popular packages from the drop-down menu or contact us to arrange a tailor-made package to suit your interests.  Highlights of our packages are shown below.

All our packages include a jungle trek ranging in length from 3 hours to several days with a fully qualified, English speaking guide.  Our jungle treks are the perfect opportunity to explore one of the world's most diverse forests, and our guides are incredibly knowledgable about the fauna and flora of the region.  Many of our guests are lucky enough to see orangutans in their natural habitat, but even if you are unlucky we can still guarantee you will have the experience of a lifetime.

This one-day tour gives you an opportunity to get more acquainted with Bukit Lawang, its surrounding area, and everyday life.  You will visit rice fields, local homes producing brown sugar, and the local market (on Fridays) and travel by becak. You can taste authentic “warung food” and ask all your questions about Indonesia.

This is an amazing opportunity to visit Tangkahan (2 hr drive from Bukit Lawang) where you can help with washing elephants in the river and then trek for one hour riding an elephant.  You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby hot springs and take a swim in the river.

You can opt to tube-raft back from a trek in the jungle or as a stand-alone activity.  The river is perfect for tubing since it has some exciting white water where you bump over rocks and some more gentle stretches where you can enjoy the surrounding scenery. We use sturdy rafts with skilled guides at the front and back.  Safe even for small children, but for kids under 5 we send a baby-sitter to tube with the child.

An exciting white water rafting trip on the Wampu river through Mount Leuser National Park.  This is a six hour journey with the opportunity to stop off at hot springs and have a jungle picnic at a spectacular waterfall.  Full instuction and safety equipment is provided and the trip is led by qualified and experienced guides.
